The purpose of this article is to demonstrate on specific cases the social impact on neighboring practices of individual federal laws adopted in Russia and to develop relevant recommendations for maintaining the neighborhood. It is indicated that the restrictions imposed by the state contribute to the social disunity of neighbors. It is concluded that further formalization of neighborhood practices will inevitably contribute to the social disunity of residents of MKDs in cities and increase social loneliness.
